Please share your interesting facts about Philately here. I'll kick start ...... First likeness of a Princess on a stamp  Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II) at age 6 holding a teddy bear. -------------------------------------------------------------------- First ever postage stamps that smell and taste like chocolate. Issued in Belgium 2013.

Newfoundland had also had a portrait of the queen's aunt, Princess Mary, Princess Royal, in the 1911 coronation set. |

Typo on my part. I did mean to say first time Queen Elizabeth was on a stamp as Princess Elizabeth.
I must have been licking too many stamps ..... by the way
the glue on US stamps is vegetarian and 1/10th of a calorie. |
