Look at the rest of their bargains as well.

I am shocked, shocked I say, that such nonsense is allowed on an establishment such as ebay. I wager that it will removed forthwith by the philatelic security team. My goodness!

Well, there must be some truth to all this - he read it in the LIBRARY. Wonder what book?

Don't demean a great book. The Cat in the Hat is clearly far too advanced for this seller.

Just one out of the legion of wannabe shysters in the ebay stamps area.

In my collecting areas, the reliable and reasonable sellers seem to have hibernated. Haven't bought any stamps on ebay in over a month, which is the longest such break since I started buying there in 1998.

I agree with you Bob. However, I can still find some good items in my area, just not from clowns like the above

My apologies for demeaning The Cat in the Hat. Perhaps It Takes a Village or Atlas Shrugged.

You know what is funny is his remark, "This one is 5 times as Rare, found out after LIBRARY reading." I sent him a note asking why he thinks such a common stamp is Rare. He actually responded:

"None of your business. Find something else to do, read a book."

I just put him on my exclude list.

To be fair, the LIBRARY did tell him it is super rare and IT IS BLUE. Would a LIBRARY lie?

Look at the seller's other listings. He's clearly just throwing stuff out there and assigning random high-dollar prices, claiming that everything is rare. Utterly clueless. Not worth an ounce of effort IMO.

These jokers tend to fade away eventually when the (even low) fees of a $1 or $2 to keep the listings alive just eat up costs...
But yeah, total clown.

Maybe it's money laundering.
Some decoys will come to buy it all.
