Central African Empire 1976 5v. This stamp belongs to a set celebrating the mission Viking in planet Mars and was issued in 1975 by Central African Republic. In 1976 Jean Bedel Bokassa declared himself emperor and change the name of the country to Central African Empire and the stamps were overprinted with the new country name.  |

Palau 1997 200th anniversary of the Parachute Stamp Here are 4 stamps from a set issued in 1997 , celebrating the 200th years of parachute stamp (!). Were issued 4 miniature sheets: 2 with 8 stamps each, and more two with one stamp each, inside.  |

Poland 1970 1v. Luna 16 was the first robotic probe to land on the Moon and return a sample of lunar soil to Earth after five unsuccessful similar attempts. The sample was returned from Mare Fecunditatis. It represented the first lunar sample return mission by the Soviet Union and was the third lunar sample return mission overall, following the Apollo 11 and Apollo 12 missions. The stamp has a 'tab' with a simple design of the probe in the land with the parachute.  |
