good morning
I found this letter addressed to the United States in 1906, I noticed that it has a stamp of 10 kon Russo of 1858 I believe, deleted with the numeral circle of Poland n.138, is it possible to use this postage after about 50 years? Greetings Simone

Hi.
Rather strange indeed.
And the address is strange too : "New-York"? No street,no number?
Seems like your card has never been mailed.

Opinion.
The Card address would have been well known by letter carriers.

The McKesson and Robins (sic) Scandal.

If it is not a philatelic souvenir, what is it?
A card written in Vilnius, cancelled in Radom, and addressed to "New York" ? (I can believe Mc Kesson & Robbins were well known in 1938,but in 1906 ?)

Thank you very much for the answers, it could in my opinion be a postcard pre-canceled in about 1870, and reused for shipping to the United States in 1906

I think the cancel is a forgery. It was not used at such a late
date.I don't think it would of been cancelled on an empty card 30 years before. The card found it's way in N.Y. by other means.

I wouldn't know, no experience in this area, however, I always feel unease when I see a perfectly inked Postmark, perfectly positioned socked on the nose, it's just "too nice", indeed it could be genuine, but I always treat these with caution.
The concentric rings look a little dodgy too. If the hammer was Brass or steel, I cannot see that smudgy shape appearing.
