Looks like some of these made it through postal authority...

Is there an actual collector niche for these??

I dabble in Lundy stamps. I have a dozen in my collection, as well as this postal card:

....hmm, nice samples of Lundy's ! I guess I'll hold on to mine and start another page in a binder!

On another note......Trapper Johns pub in St John's, Newfoundland has a quaint ritual of becoming a member.... and not to give away too many secrets, kissing a puffins ass is one step!!

Lundy is the only other area I specifically collect than US... It all started around 1984 when attending an IndyPex at around 14 years old, after buying some stuff, the dealer gave me a small set of Lundy triangles, explaining to me they were considered a "vanity stamp", but I thought they were cool. I've been collecting them since, when I stumble across them, though I don't so much "seek them out". I don't think there are any Lundy albums, which is a pity, but I have my collection in a small B4 album. I'll try to post the images up later.

I think the Britannia leaves are tarted-up Steiner, which is also what the Google-linked pages look like.

I looked at the web site, but no images. Do you know if the Gibbons album has stamp photos in the pages, or just outlines like the PDF you linked as well?

CP - I don't know, I was just aware of it existing. Send Gibbons a message via their website and ask. They're usually pretty good about responding within a day or so.

I bought some from a dealer at WESTPEX who had a lot of cinderellas (which is where they had their Lundy stamps filed), but yeah, you'll have much better luck finding them online (lots of them on ebay, most of them overpriced).
