Agreed. Both have rarity sales regularly and are top notch auction houses IMHO.

I am afraid he is not going to meet the minimum of the stamp auction house. You have to have at least $1,000 stamps or collections that can realise $2,000. Again if the quality isn't there then the firms will reject a new consigner .

We need pictures to advise where to go without posting pictures here it is all guesses .

The Sardegna stamp with a Diena cert. goes for around a 1100- 1500 euros in italy.It has
short margins.It is a nice stamp.

Since you have these two cert. stamps and much more a major European auction house is the way to proceed.
