These three are in a recent acquisition and believe they were improperly identified at Hungary. I believe they are Armenia from 1919 - 1920. I think all three are the type G overprint but am totally confounded by the water marks or lack thereof. I mislabeled the left one it should be 3R on 3K not 2K. Poor counterfeits?
Thanks for any assistance.
Paul

Yes,they're from Armenia (overprints on russian stamps)
According to Michel catalog (and StampWorld too) those russian stamps have no watermark.

I find the Scoot listing of these Russian and Armenian stamps to be confusing.

At the start of their Armenian listing is an image of watermark 171 "diamonds".

For Armenia, as far as I can see, this watermark applies only to the surcharged postal savings stamps, Sc. #250-253.

However, it could set an expectation that the basic definitive stamps may have this watermark.

To make things worse, the lozenge pattern varnish coating on the front of many of the stamps may give the impression of a watermark.

I much prefer the SG or Michel layouts.

These three are all listed with black surcharges in SG but I'm afraid I can't comment on whether the surcharges are genuine or not.

The first stamp should read 3 roubles on 3 Kop.There are black frame remnants of the cancelar on the stamps.

The fakes of these issues tend to be counterfeit surcharges on genuine stamps. (If we're dealing with the surcharged Armenian pictorals instead, then fake surcharges on fake stamps abound, but they tend to be the easy one to spot.) None of these are on watermarked paper, I believe.

These are three of the most numerous of the 1919-20 Armenian surcharge varieties, so you've got a decent shot at them being legit.

This blog by a knowledgeable collector has interesting discussion about these issues, including literature tips, signs to look for on a forgery (most higher value surcharges and postally used material on the market are fakes), and analysis of individual Armenian items found on ebay or auction houses:
