This is a World War II censorship marking. I can't date it any better, but perhaps a censorship expert can.

Given the APO number on the address and the fact it's a French postcard I would say 1944 or 1945.

From "Alphabetical Listing of APOs, January 1942 - November 1947,
Prepared by Army Postal Service and Strength Accounting Branches, AGO

APO 230 First Army

Location Date first active

Bristol England Oct 10, 1943
France July 15, 1944
Soumange Belgium Sep 26, 1944
St Strond Belgium Dec 22, 1944
Duren Germany Mar 21, 1945
Weimar Germany May 5, 1945
Borg Germany Oct 4, 1945

There are more accurate listing of this type, but this is a "free" publication which I found on line, and use it as a starting place for seaches
