There are two aspects of this - company faces declining print and goes online but makes poor digital technology decisions and mismanagement per new CEO.

This company used to own Minkus brand and Stamp Collector publication but had sold to Amos Media years ago.

I am sure some lessons to learn for philatelic companies and groups.

Years ago when I posted on the Delphi forum that philatelic organizations which relied upon publication needed to hire staff with technology expertise (as opposed to out-sourcing IT) I was told I was wrong and ridiculed as an "I-idiot".
