Barred Numeral Duplexes
1880 and 1903
Graham Gleeson covers
Opinion: yours is dodgy.

As an aside, I am wondering why I cannot find any barred numeral postmarks
of the channel Islands in standard references ? Hendy et al.
Any ideas?

Sheesh.
I was using Jony's spelling Castleton. error

Castletown IOM
Duplex 037 1855 - 1906 (EKU LKU 1854-1905)
Under Douglas 1844-1889
Independent sub office 1869-1906

037 was also used by Stanford le Hope (Essex) but later not on penny red.

I'd leave it open for now,
First time I have seen the sideways duplex (Thanks Perf12)
My searches in my information on 037 have been exhausted, but it looks like more material is out there.
Good stuff, enjoyed the thread.
