Just looking for anyone's thoughts. In the third image in the top right corner appears to be a slight thin. Scott does show a listing for the Gray being omitted.

It looks like the gray is still there, just heavily washed out when soaked off.

I agree. It is not very realistic to do this sort of thing with a used stamp - all sorts of environmental mishaps could have occurred
