Hi all,

I remember finding this stamp and putting it away last year to come back to, the value is lined so I assume this is the re- engraved type3.

I dont have a catalogue and the info on google seems to me to be confusing, from what I can find its the 25 type3 that is scarce with only 3250 printed and valid for only 21 days,

can some one fill me in on what is what with this issue.

thanks

Your correct; like plate 3(re-engraved).
The 25c plate 3 were only distributed to postal officials and gouverment officials for
private correspondence.Only a few sheets. That is why the 25c is scarce.

Thanks for the link, that site didn't pop up in my search but has all my answers, it's says very scarce used but it's the 25 that is rare, shame about the wrinkle on lower left .

The scans don't do it justice but the value is just made up of very clear lines instead of solid colour.
