Just received my shipment from the French PO of their new Concorde Issue! I always get a pair of an issue, unless it is really great then more. But I digress. Nice stamp to commemorate the Concorde.
What a nice looking pair of stamps. I can't believe it's been 50 years since the Concorde flew for the first time. It's almost baffling to think that the time it took to fly trans-Atlantic 50 years ago was half of what it is today. What a worthy subject for a stamp issue. I wonder whether Royal Mail here in the UK will issue its own Concorde commemoration!
