I picked this up on a recent trip to the northeast U.S.
It was a bit pricey but based on my ebay searching might be worth it.

I haven't researched the stamps much yet, but they look common. Scott Germany #67?
Newbie question: Stamps on Postcards are considered "on cover" right??

and Why the 2 Davos-Platz cancels?

1903 correct?

I am new to postcards, but enjoying learning about the images, production, stamps and cancels and of course the messages folks write.

It looks like there is some writing on the front of this one... not sure if its a message to the addressee. (Anybody want to translate?)

I welcome your insights and comments.

Turtle, the card was sent to a sanatorium patient in Davos, Switzerland. It was received at Davos-Platz after the patient had been
sent home(?)in Geneva. Hence the receiving cancel on the 23rd and a shipping cancel on the 24th,

Peter

.
Nice card!

So much for the theory that Santa Claus was only dressed in red after being adopted by the Coca-Cola Company.
