I know it's probably wishful thinking, but I just came across these two fellows in my collection and I was wondering if either one or both could possibly be Scott #64?
You are right in being skeptical. I do not believe these are #64 or even #64b. These appear to be in the usual range of rose shades of #65. #64s are in very bright and garish colors, very pink.
