Not sure I am reading the picture correctly, but I think it says Eastern Star Home.
I zoomed in and cropped the sign.
From what I researched, if the text is accurate, it is the meeting place for the Order of the Eastern Star (related to the Masons)

Where did the word "Defender" come from below the stamp? Part of the postcard?
Anybody familiar with Philadelphia and 3333 Chestnut St? It's a parking garage now, but used to be a historic street of some sort.
