I met Geoff Kellow today and bought both books, he said that he just received the new editions only minutes before and that the books I have are the first to be bought, so for the next few days I'm going to be the only person to have these books.

They are in colour and instead of the B5 format it is now in A4, and talk about supersizing. I asked Geoff why so big, he explained that there was a great waste of paper as the printing paper were all A3 and recutting then to be B5 left a lot of wastage that was being paid for.

So to limit wastage the books will now be issued in A4 format, saving thousands of dollars in wastage.

The KGVI catalogue is the same size in B5 and A4 format.

The new A4 format alongside the former B5 black and white issue.

Geoff will be travelling to England on Sunday (April 14).

Now we truly have world class editions to many of Australia Stamp Issue Eras!

Go for it ACSC! The books still rules!

But maybe the cost of these books and with so much new info being found is signaling that soon a down load will be an update and the update will not be in a book form anymore.

Hi KGV Collector

The book is definitely world class now that it is in full colour, all the editors has to do now is actually add a proof reader to their staff. Brusden-White should also have a system where additions and corrections are added to the new edition every time it is necessary as well as being proof read.

Pity this isn't the case, even though I was assured that my rare unlisted copies were to be added into the 2019 ACSC none were, and the one that did make it by name has me gobsmacked; The editor's know I'm in possession of a thin £2 Coat-of-Arms with roller flaw, one of only 2 known to exist and it comes with a Ceremuga certificate, and yes the ACSC number for this stamp was mentioned, it also said the stamp was never reported, and I bought that stamp from one of the major contributor's, try and work that one out.

Apart from that, many of the catalogue prices have changed, some ACSC numbers were altered and some shades are no longer listed; and instead of a separate book for Postage Dues they are now incorporated in both the KGVI and Pre-Decimal QEII editions, the QEII includes the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

I don't think a downloaded update will be coming any time soon, considering that a full update and proof reading of the book still has flaws.

What I can say about the book is though there has been a failure adding some of the updates does not divert from the importance that both books have for the collector and the colour added makes identifying the stamps and the varieties much easier, and the written content, as always, extremely informative and useful.

I have both books and will be spending some time updating my catalogue and adding the 2019 catalogue prices beside the 2015 prices and my invoice costs.
