I'm Jack. I live on a small peninsula in the Niagara peninsula close to Lake Erie. My message is the opposite of most I've read here. I wish to rid myself of the space-taking bins of philatelia I've been dragging around for years. I was bitten by the collecting bug in my teens and dedicated time, effort and cash to what I considered a pleasurable and worthy pastime. But I have not 'played' with my stamps for too long. The popular question today is "Do They Bring You Joy?" My answer is no. But I know there is joy to be had for others. So I'm going to photograph and scan what I have and we'll see what's what. Thanks for letting me in!
As someone who has recently been bitten again by the stamp bug, I can relate to having periods of time where my collection is dormant while other aspects of life take priority.
Hopefully as you begin to look your material over the bug may bite you as well.
