I am thinking of obtaining these catalogues (2022 editions of both are now available). I have looked at the sample pages available on the website and they certainly seem more detailed than Unitrade in areas, would like to hear from other Canadian collectors their thoughts on their quality & usefulness.

I have Walsh's NSSC catalog for 2022(and 2012, 2016 & 2018)and just think it is GREAT!!!
490 pages of interesting articles, stories, post cards, post marks, revenues and detailed images of stamps, covers etc....
If you are into anything Newfoundland Postal Related, This is the "BOOK"

Thanks for feedback! I'm only a casual NF collector at this point, more interested in early Canada, so probably will get the BNA one first. |

For Newfoundland its a must have. Unitrade is like children's book in comparison.

I just took a look through the 2023 PDF sample pages and ToC and was blown away. What an incredible work. The scope is truly amazing and I did not know that the BNA Specialized included revenues. I use Van Dam but the VD catalog looks so lame (sorry) in comparison. I am wowed. |

I ordered the BNA catalogue - so far looks to be a great resource for what I'm most interested in (King Edward and George V periods) - with some great articles as well. Looking forward to a detailed read.
