Great Britain 1883-1884 Queen Victoria Coloured Letters In Corners

Some questions about these stamps:

1) Do they have fugitive inks or are they safe to soak?

2) Are there rarer plates or flaws to look out for? If so, please list any known.

3) SG Part One notes a rare perf 12 for the rose 5 shillings but does not indicate the normal perforation on all of these stamps - what is it?

4) If you have one of each, please upload an image of a bluish paper next to white paper example for each denomination (or a link to one on the web if you know of a reliable reference) for easy comparison.

1. The purple can be slightly fugitive.
3. Perf 14. This info carries over from previous listings in the catalog and is a standard practice, not just philatelically.

The 5/- stamp shown has a telegraphic cancel, not a postal one.

Thanks also for the perf information - I am accustomed to the Stanley Gibbons standard practice in the Australian and Australian states/colonies sections, i.e. to list the perforation size separately for each group even if they are the same size as the previous issues.
