Hi Pascoe,
What are your thoughts as to their identity? Do you own these or are you thinking about buying them?
Don

I do own both of these and purchased them as #7 and #9, respectively. I can't recall which design has the re engraved lines around the vignette. They both look the same to me lately and I'd like to get a copy of the one I'm missing. Thanks Don!

Pascoe,
Can you provide some better scans of the stamps? And separate them into two images. Need a good 600DPI scan (or better) of each stamp.

Stamp #2 is a Scott #9. Stamp #1 shows no visible recut so should be a Scott #7. I can't consult my Neinken book to find out if it is possible to have a bottom recut without a top recut and also without a bottom recut on the stamp above. I don't think that is one of the possible combinations. Stamp #1 doesn't really look like a #9 anyway.
