I often see Postal Commemorative Society covers on eBay.
I'm just wondering.
Are there any collectors of this material?
The auctions I see usually sell for low prices or they don't sell at all.

The Postal Commemorative Society is to stamp collecting what the Franklin Mint was to coin collecting.

These were commercial enterprises putting together "collectibles" and trying to market them as a valuable item.

As you said, they are frequently for sale and don't usually sell...

I agree - little or no interest and little or no value. Keep in mind that not all "sales" in eBay auctions are real sales. It is not uncommon for a dealer with a large amount of material to unload will "prop up" the market for his items by bidding on and "winning" his or her own auctions to try to get others to think there is an actual market price for them. And this sometimes happens when people who were fooled by the marketing hype of this sort of thing and believed that they were making "investments" by buying it find out many years later that they were taken in by the kind of fast buck companies who manufactured and marketing such instant collectibles to uninformed people.
