If we don't limit the upload size the server would be full in a month. Most people, certainly not all though, couldn't care less about our expenses. They wouldn't crop their images and they'd upload 8 MB images straight out of their camera. Unfortunately I can't afford a warehouse full of servers like Instagram and Facebook.
