I'm not so sure they are "rock bottom". I've looked at similar material on ebay and it doesn't seem to sell. So I'm making up lots that will move fast.

I think a lot of older collectors are going to be really surprised when they come to dispose of their material. The demand for a lot of these type of items just isn't there anymore. Value = supply vs DEMAND. This is a lot of supply but hardly any DEMAND anymore.

Old collectors are just deluding themselves if they think there is. Some members of my stamp club are of the opinnion they would rather destroy their material than let it go as a price lower than they original paid for it. My feeling: take what you can get and be happy.

Also, None of the deck cards were purchased. They were all gotten freely from local post offices. So I'm losing nothing.

Glenn, I checked the glossary here but did not find it. What is a "deck card" and what is it used for?
