Dallay was absorbed by Maury, but I haven't seen its catalogues, so I can't compare them for you - sorry!

The Dallay from GeoffHa's link (2008) and the Maury I have (2011) have the identical title wording/font/image on the cover. That suggests they are much the same inside, but cannot confirm of course without having them both in hand! |

Then I guess I've to take the plunge and buy what's available before that dries up too. Let's see where I can get the best deal as shipping to India would be a similar cost as the book.
Thank you both GeoffHa and Gmot. |

Btw, I too added the C27 along with other stamps issued in a year before and after. All of them are just a work of art and the amount of detail and the design is just mind blowing. |

Before you plunge, you might contact Spink and ask whether it intends to publish new editions of the French colonies catalogues, or whether it intends to limit itself to an annual update of the French catalogue. |

Got a confirmation from Spink...
"Many thanks for your email. I can confirm that the Dallay Africa 2007-2008 is the most suitable substitute for the Maury 2014-15, and there are no plans for a newer edition."
So, now it is clear that no newer editions are coming in the future and the only option is what is available right now which is the Dallay 2007-2008. |

Finally took all the remaining four catalogues of Spink/Dallay namely DOM-TOM, Africa, Andorra-Monaco & TAAF Polar Lands and France 2019 (2 volumes). The worst part now is to wait for them to arrive. |

At least the postage averages out at a little less when you buy a few volumes. They were very quick in sending out books when I bought from them, although, of course, I'm only a few miles away! |

Yes, that is very true. A single book's postage was costing about £15 but when combined it came to £23, so saved quite a lot here. Now, the only concern is the customs part which is very high in my country (42% on product cost + freight) and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it clears without any duty. Tracking shows delivery by 15th, I really did not expect that fast shipment. |
