While scanning my recent set of Mufti, I noticed many different shades, gums, paper on this common set. Unitrade only mention different shades on 233a (booklet pane) Is there info readily available on papers, gum, color on this issue that one would share?
You may wish to pick up a used copy of the Commonwealth Catalog. It was produced by Murray Payne Inc before their acquisition by Stanley Gibbons. If there are more collectible varieties, they will likely be found in Commonwealth. I'm fairly certain there are copies around used, and its possible some supplies companies like Subway still have unused copies.
