I participated in the MB auction that wrapped up today and must say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. I won some lots at fair bid levels. What I most enjoyed was the excellent variety of good stamps that were still at sane levels. Most of them had certificates. None had crazy grading numbers if they were graded at all. (plenty were not) There was competition but it was healthy. There was none of the emotional bidding that leaves you scratching your head. Quality was very decent but there were plenty of genuinely rare stamps with small issues that were obtainable by the average collector. The auction moved along at a comfortable pace and wrapped up each day in four or five hours at the most. It was a breath of fresh air.
