Cough up fifty bucks and just buy a scanner at Amazon or Best Buy.

A scanner is so much more flexible than a cell phone camera. Dysfunctional software furnished with cheap scanners can produce dull and unimaginative images faster than any cell phone. Of course, it is possible to emulate a bad scan with a digital SLR camera.
