Turkey Bisect On Cover

Comparison with 2 other cancels.Apparently they are scarce.
The Austrian levant "BAP" cancel was used where? Could not find anything.

See above: Bar, Montenegro, today close to the border but not on the border with Albania. Montenegrin cancel, not an Austrian Levant one or type.

That seems like quiet a detour from Porto lagos too Bar.When Saranda is at the southern end of Albania across from Corfu?How can we explain this?

I guess this was just the result of a particular steamer's routing along the coast.

Maybe this was on an Austrian steamer bound for Trieste or Venice and was handed over when in port in Bar for forwarding?

It would be useful to know what the arabic script reads. I see "100" written at the bottom. Anyone?

What would be the rate to Albania be? Offhand, 10pa seems cheap, especially for a letter.

With the routing looking rather odd, I think we also have to ask if this is faked rather than being an unauthorized bisect usage.

Looking closer,there is a dent in the lower part of the cancel.So it looks like the
cancel is genuine.That leaves 2 or 3 possible things.

1)Unofficial use and cancel of the bisect by a postal clerk(Mixed up date slugs),cover really sent.

2)Manipulated cover front by removal of prior stamp(s) and a genuine favor cancel on the bisect.This may be far fetched given the early date of the cover,but possible.
