Early US Postal Card Errors.....looking For Scott And Value (If Any)

I have these two older US Postal Cards and would like help with the Scott catalog number. Also I would like to know if they have any value or how unique they might be.

Anyone could buy sheets (typically for private printing like advertising on cards). As such, people could (and did) cut them to make up interesting singles.

This was precisely the subject of today's meeting of the UPSS (United Postal Stationery Society), where the Keynote Address was on miscut US postal cards.

For each US postal card, BTW, the UPSS catalog (new edition coming in 2020!) mentions if the card was also sold as sheets, or if the card was only sold as singles.

Miscuts of postal cards that were sold only as singles are the more valuable (typically north of U$D 100 each), as the miscutting is taken to be a genuine production error.

Miscuts of postal cards that were also sold in sheets are less valuable (they might fetch a few percent above their typical market price), as these miscuts are taken to be what our numismatist brethren call "PMD" (Post Mint Damage).

Commercial printers favored sheets over singles because they are easier to handle & faster to print, but the fact that the printers did their own cutting greatly reduces collector interest in any mistakes that they made, intentionally or otherwise.

Miscut US postal cards were a popular fraud. Collectors created them for fun, some dealers created them for profit. Fair market value today runs between 50-cents and $2. A display with one genuine card and three fake miscuts, with the head in various corners, is quite striking. Sorry, I forgot to scan mine before I bartered it off.
