Hello everyone. I am in the process of selling some covers which no longer are of interest to me.

I normally know what a reasonable price is. But this 1945 Olomouc series on cover is unknown territory for me.

What would be a reasonable price to ask?

Thank you for your help, Johan

Hi Johan.
You may try 50$ (start price for a similar cover in Milan Cernik's auction in Prague,2018)

... and try to find some end-of-war events close to the 19450602 postmark date, to add some color.

Cheers,

The Red Army liberated Olomouc on May 8 1945. These stamps were created by a local Philatelic club. The local stamp known as the "Premysl eagle"issue was drawn by the artist
Aljo Beran.Printed by the National printing office (Kramar & Prochazka). These were sold
and used in the three main post offices of Olomouc from 26-28 May 1945.Under local derectives, the use of local stamps ended at the end of May 1945 after which "country" stamps were used.
Many contrived covers exist after this date and are pure Philatelic souvenirs...
