Hi, I am new to the forum. I collect stamps from the 1800's and some newer. I am trying to figure out which guides are best for pricing things that are different. I have the Scott pocket stamp catalog and it has a lot but not some things I want. I need help with red and colored cancels or fancy cancels, margin inscription captures, plate blocks, multiple stamps connected together and things like that, etc. Can anybody help? Thanks, Ernie.

The Scott Specialized Catalogue of United States Stamps lists values for 19th century colored/fancy cancels, plate blocks or margin inscriptions, blocks of four, etc. For other countries you'll need a different specialized catalog, but for US stamps that's the best one.
