Saint Lucia. Question On Date Of Issue Qe II Stamp.

Hello everyone,

I have this cover with a 2 cent QE II stamp from Saint Lucia 1953. That is what I know.

I searched but cannot find the date of issue of this stamp.

I know the cover says FDC, but I cannot find a second example.

Can anyone confirm the date of 28th of October 1953?

The date is correct per the Gibbons catalog. This was the first of the set issued with other values issued on a range of dates over years. Why suspect fraud here?

I did not think it was incorrect.

I simply could not find a second example of this single stamp on fdc. Which also meant that I could not varify the date.

That particular fdc with that stamp I did find.
