Hungary Issues With Romanian Seal Overprint

Greetings.

Recently saw an issue from Hungary's 1916 - 1918 "harvesting wheat" series with a Romanian royal seal overprint in black. This overprint is nearly identical to the common Romanian watermark. And bears the motto: Nimil Sine Deo (Nothing Without God).

Realize the Kingdom of Romania (1878 - 1947) was ruled by relatives of the German Hohenzolleren royal family. And hence the crest.

But why would Hungarian stamps be overprinted with the Romanian royal crest?

Pointing to just a link with various drop boxes is not helpful.

In short, Hungary was invaded by Romania in 1918 and Romania overprinted Hungarian stamps found. This is either the oval overprint ("First Debrecen", named for the captured city), or the round overprint ("Second Transylvania"). Both exist on other Hungarian issues of the time.

The 5f harvesters has a genuine First Debrecen overprint, the postage due does not (sorry, Big Blue).
