Hello everyone, my name's Alicia. I have been confusing myself for the past four days searching the internet trying to make sense of what I have in my possession but I am nowhere near making any sense of all this than the day I started. Perhaps I dont have anything of value at all, but my curiosity won't let me end my search. I just want to know what these stamps are and any info anyone has on them. One other question before I leave to go check out your link, are the above common as well? It will help more than you know to know if I am searching for common us stamps. Thank you in advance for your help!
Nothing jumps out as being rare and note that 'condition' plays an important role in valuation. (Some of what you show have significant condition issues.) Also note that you should not remove the stamp from the paper, most of what you have shown is more interesting intact than if you soaked the stamps from them. Some of the items warrant a bit of discovery into the postmarks and addressee. Don
If you're taking up the hobby, you could do a lot worse than starting with the items you've pictured above. I've always loved the banknote style cues of USA stamps from this era. Beautiful to look at, even if not especially valuable.
