Is there an online source for identifying local issues of the Spanish Civil War, such as this one? Scott includes only local Nationalist overprints of Republican stamps. I know of Julio Allepuz, Sellos Locales de la Guerra Civil Espańola, but it's in six volumes, each costing €80.

The site for Republican stamps looks very good. Wish there were something like it for Nationalist stamps.

In fact that first link does seem to be for both Republican and Nationalist stamps. Its home page offers chapters on each. Thanks again, Vayolene.

I've been collecting these issues for the past few years and find them fascinating. Some estimate there were well over 5000 different stamps issued during this era so there is no lack of things to explore. Feel free to post any you get stuck on.
