My partner inherited her grandfather's house and his wife, her stepgrandmother, kept everything and was a borderline hoarder. I found these 2 letters in a grocery bag at the bottom of a closet among several other various stamps/letters that don't seem to be worth anything. These are the only stamps that may or may not be worth anything. I literally have zero idea and know nothing about stamps. I've read a little bit online and don't feel any clearer than when I first searched Google. I did see a few things about misprints and I'm not sure if the one offset stamp would be considered one of these. Any input or suggestions on how to find someone who can help me out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
This is the stamp that, personally, I feel appears to be printed crooked.
These stamps were printed by the billions and millions still exist today in post office fresh condition including full sheets. Unfortunately yours are not only common but the one is damaged. Sorry to say, no value. Whether or not the cancels are gems or common I'll leave to the postal history better minds.
