When I look at the 1926 original stamp on left it looks like its been messed with. Look at the so called rare elephant stamp and try line up the postmark from the left stamp to the right stamp. Seems like forgery but I maybe wrong. What do you guys think? Here is the link.
The address writing looks almost identical but the postmark on the Kelleher one goes all the way around. So the one on ebay seems okay then? Its just wierd how the cds completly misses the elephant stamp on the ebay one. Is this actually rare?
The cancel does go over the elephant stamp below portion.On the top there are 2 stamps ,so the cancel ended just short and picked up over the 1 anna stamp.
Okay thanks for the imput everyone, it looks like the cover is real, he maybe the one who bought from Kelleher who sold several. If he did he is brave spending $200 on a cover and relisting it on ebay at 99 cents start! He must have a lot of confidence in his bidders, when I see his other items he seems to have enough bidders. But if he's spening that much per cover is he really making his money back or just breaking even on ebay?
