Let may say at the outset that I fully realize that I'm asking a lot, here, so if this post is summarily ignored, I understand completely and no hard feelings LOL. Anyway, can anyone make heads or tails of what this message on the shown postal card reads? And I don't mean translation into English either. I speak German...its that the handwriting looks like hieroglyphics to me. The only thing I can read is the 'Mit Grusse' at the end. Any takers?

It is difficult to read, but it looks like an order/request for Polish stamps from around 1920?

One can see Poczta Polska in the 8th line.

I know we have a couple of members that are very good at reading these kind of German cards. I am sure they will respond.

There seem to be a lot of different face values and possibly prices for them written lower down, too.

Very interesting. I don't know German, so I can't help.

I use a service to decipher the old German scripts. If you get desperate and are willing to pay, they're here. The cost varies depending on difficulty and volume, but they'll give you a free quote. Probable $5-$15.

Even for people who read German those old cards can be very difficult. I know have tried with people who are collectors and who can read modern German easily, but the old writing can be very hard to decipher.
