Congratulations and thanks to the APS, and ATA, staff who put the Omaha show together. I thought the CHI venue was great, easy to get to from nearby motels, lots of space, good lighting, excellent exhibits, friendly dealers, and cool. Attendance seemed steady, but never crowded. Omaha has done a fine job in keeping its downtown alive and new. I thoroughly enjoyed the show and I'm glad I went.
Thanks to you and all the folks who came to the show in Omaha. According to the dealers and the USPS, buying was going full force for the whole weekend. The hot seller over the weekend were the $2 Inverted Jenny sheets, almost 12,000 purchased through Sunday. The only reason they didn't sell more is they couldn't get them to the show!
At the dealer breakfast on Sunday, Stephen Taylor told me he took back all the things he said about Omaha, it was a great show for him.
The APS staff and the ATA did an outstanding job. We're already working on putting together some special events for Hartford 2020 and hope we can add to the momentum we have coming out of the Omaha show. The biggest complaint I got about the weekend was there was too much to do.
We're going to work on the scheduling for the 2020 show to make sure everyone can get the most of the weekend. Our new show app will be up and running soon.
