Does anyone know if there is a listing of post offices that used the Type E 4-bar issued to smaller post offices in 1930-1931. I have done searches of a number of indexes as well as using various on-line search engines and have found very little.
The Hadley Ross listing of Indiana Post Offices contains a supplement in the back of volume II listing known Indiana 4-bars. It should help you with those known from the hoosier state.
I believe the other author, Randy Stehel, is also deceased. The illustration is used is from their publication "A Catalog of Non-standard US Postmarks 1900-1971" published in 2009 as an ebook by LaPosta
