While trying to figure out a cancel, I can definitely see Ar____askaville. Postal archive doesn't list this, and only thing I can find online is Arthabaska Ville. Does anyone have info on this cancel (CDS). Thanks!

I read it as Arthabaskaville. Campbell lists it as opened in 1875 with the name formerly St. Christophe de Arthabaska.

Newbie question - what is the name of Campbell's book?

Canada Post Offices 1755-1895. Frank Campbell's original work consisted of numerous editions typewritten on onionskin. I can vouch for the fact that the eighth carbon copy was unreadable. He'd circulate these to fellow collectors, obtain additions and corrections and type a new copy, repeating the process. In 1972. Quarterman Publications published Campbell's work as a book. While out-of-print, the book can readily be found on the market.
