I have been trying to learn how to upload images for a couple of days now. I'm not the brightest bulb in the box when it comes to this sort of thing, but even I should be able to master it. I've used the image optimizer repeatedly and after resizing to within 200KB, when I try to upload, the size is still too large. With the "Save" function in the optimizer, cannot find saved images. Where are they? Does someone have a simple set of instructions on image uploading? The tutorial is inadequate to the task, at least for me. I use Google browser. Maybe I need to switch? BTW, Irfanview is still available as a link on the tutorials page. Do NOT upload this file; I did and I got all sorts of marketing popups from TheMediaConverter.com. Got rid of the junk, but it was an unpleasant experience! Help!

For me, I found the easiest solution is to make the image less than 200k when I initially scan it and thus avoid all the follow-up software. Make a <200k scan for SCF and a hi-res scan for other uses if I feel a need.

After you get the image under 200k, click save.
Then up above, there is a download button. Download file, then upload your new 200kb file to your post.

For the record anyone can view, search, and reuse their images here.....

Be sure to give them descriptive names so you can search them.
