Hello, I'm sure this is an official stamp It is pretty faded, I am more interested in the cancel. I'm not sure where to go about finding this cancel. Is anyone familiar with it? As always your help is most appreciated.
David

It's the Bombay Circle, but differs from Bombay (B-1)
Maybe Kulladye?
Looks like B14 6 over 3

Caveat: India newbie.

rod222, Thank you for this information. In trying to find out what Bombay Circle was I found this site
http://www.sismondostamps.com/infob...Aden1.htm#VI Using this site
I believe the stamp is Sc# O-24, SG O-33a 2 Anna Orange with On H S M overprint and I think the cancel is a Cooper Type 32a or b using the site perf12 posted. I am not totally sure either.
I can't find Kulladye online. where is it located?
Thanks
David

David,
my bad.........looks like Kulladgee maybe.

This image is not mine, maybe copyright from
"Mandrekas Phila Treasure"
I have had it for 12 years, when I was studying India Postmarks

Make of it, what you will, I am not sufficiently educated in this discipline.

I believe the number is 41, which would be Hyderabad Deccan.
