I just noticed two of my stamps have a wide line cancel. They look like different cancels methods were used but they are similar. My question is: do any of you have a cover with a similar cancel? I'd like to see how long the line is or if the line is only part of the cancel.
Thanks,

Seen on Canadian stamps, these were felt tipped cancelling lines on stamps adhered to cheques (checks) (ie revenue usage)

The blue line on an European cover, may be remains of the Registration indicia.

No idea on US examples.
