When I finished sorting thru a recently acquired Chinese collection (pre 1960), I ended up with 6 "unknowns" left over. The first three were posted the other day, with the determination they are likely forgeries. Here is the second set of 3, and I do hope they turn out to be legitimate..........

Thank you all for your help and patience. I would obviously prefer to identify these on my own, but I've exhausted all my resources.

The bottom two again are Japanese occupation of North China.

Thanks for the links, but I'm still at a bit of a loss.........

Is it a fact that they are not listed in Scotts and spaces are not included on the Steiner pages?

If they are, where would I find them?

Thank you!

These are not listed in Scott or Steiner.you can find them in the Chan catalog and the Ma
old catalogs. If one is going to collect early Chinese a Chan catalog is the only way to go,and make your pages accordingly.at least that's the way I would do it.
Almost forgot ;you have Yangs catalog also…..

Thank you Perf12, you have answered my question perfectly.

I guess I'm pleased that I just didn't overlook them in the Scotts/Gibbons catalogues. But I'm disappointed that they are not listed.

I've just learned of Chan and Yangs catalogs and will see if I can find one reasonably priced.

Thank you (and all) for your help -I've learned so much about China in these last few months!

The upper one is the PRC liberated area stamp in 1940's. You should be able to find it in the Scott Catalog.

The lower two are Japanese Occupation stamps. The lower left has a suspicious overprint.

But genuine or not, these are all common stamps.
