The word "chipped" is from Kenneth Tan's book and refers to the color of the color of the background does not meet at the corner. There is white space so the writer used the word chipped as if it was cut off.
Does anyone know why the redrawn 50c value (Scott 459a) is so expensive used in Scott ($57.50, same as mint)? The other redrawn issues are cheaper used than mint, as they did see a fair amount of use. Thanks, Michael
