Hi Sam,

this should be a small part of a machine-postmark from Nürnberg with an advertisment for the "Ausstellung für Wasserstraßen und Energie-Wirtschaft, Nürnberg - Luitpoldhain 15.August bis 30.September" (means exhibition for waterway and energy buisness in Nürnberg from 15.08. until 30.09.)

You can find it in the postmark-database of the german stampsx.com -website.
