If I am looking for a strip of The Art of Magic stamps issued in 2018 which Scott designates as 5305a. Is this, by definition, the five different stamps in Scott number order from left-right (5301-5305) (i.e. the top row in the sheet); or, can any strip of five different stamps in this series be accurately called 5305a? I have been assuming that the "a" designation was always for a block or strip in Scott number order but I can't find anything in the Scott catalog that actually says that.

Any strip would be 5305a since it is not specified. Some collectors prefer the exact number order of stamps or the exact order as illustrated in their album/album supplement.
