Hi guys.
What is the true terminalogy for describing ink burrs at places highlighted in red on this Canadian # 135 stamp?

I'm not sure of the proper term for it, but I believe it's caused by over inking, or possible poor viscosity in the ink, then the extra ink is pulled outside of the desired image area.
I could also be wrong about that so I'll let the real experts chime in.

Pollux..The right terminology is called "INK PULL"..
They are likely the result of ink that is a little too thin, or fluid, and when the paper is pulled from the plate.

Quite common on some Admiral stamps.
